Golden Tobacco, has it's own raw tobacco procurement division, based at Guntur in state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The procurement team consists of highly experienced and dedicated personnel, catering to requirements of domestic as well as exports,capable of handling around 10 million kgs of raw tobacco per season. We have handling, stripping /threshing /redrying facilities spread across various locations. The team is equally proficient in dealing with Karnataka tobacco, Air cured, Sun cured and fire cured tobaccos. Team members are well versed in requirements of various potential tobacco buyers for export to countries like UK, Japan,China & majority countries of erstwhile Soviet Union. We have all the facilities of tobacco handling, packing and storage, under one roof resulting in lesser transportation and degradation. A fully equipped laboratory is also present, to monitor the quality parameters, at each and every stage.
Golden tobacco has it's own tobacco processing / blending division at Vadodara,in state of Gujarat,India. We have a fully equipped processing division, with a capacity of 50 tons/day. Since,primary processing is the foundation of cigarette industry, emhasis is laid on, quality at each and every stage, and house keeping. Semi automated controls, at conditioning, cutting and drying stages, manned by highly experienced operating crew. We also, have a parallel line for processing of stems. Input to tobacco dryer is controlled by set of weigh feeders. Online moisture meters at final stages of both cut tobacco and CRS dryers. We also have a full fledged cased leaf drying set up with seperate storage silo. Quality assurance department controls all the set parameters, at blendig, cutting and drying stages. Quality control laboratory is well equipped to test all the parameters of cut tobacco, like moisture, filling power, seive analysis and tobacco degradation etc. We are also equipped with auto analyser and smoking machine, which imparts all the required data for individual blends.
